How do I stop Internet Explorer from crashing?

OS=Windows Xp sp2



Internet Explorer (V 6.0.2900) and update versions sp2



Here's the event log:



Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module dispex.dll, version 5.6.0.6626, fault address 0x00001362.



%26gt;and this is what pops up on my screen



iexplore.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x7c901010" referenced memory at "0x0000001c". The memory could not be "read".



Click on OK to terminate the program

Use a MAC... not really... seriously sounds like you have a registry conflict. Simply re-install explorer of install the latest version and it will work fine.

Install the latest version of Internet Explorer.
It seems like you have corrupted installation of IE.



Try start %26gt; run %26gt; cmd



then type



sfc /scannow
