My Internet Explorer has been closing randomly?

Internet explorer has been closing itself randomly, sometimes it will only close the window im working in, sometimes it will close them all. and it doesnt give any error message or anything. i just blink and everythings gone. what would cause this?

some extra information incase its helpful.. for antivirus i have AVG free edition.. and i ran ad-aware se , and spybot - search %26amp; destroy. i also run disk clean up everyother day or so.

Git rid of the AVG and the other junk and get Active Virus Shield. [Just type it in Google.] It's free, 99% effective, and they send an activation code to your email address, so be sure to enter a legitimate email address.

As for the Internet Explorer thing: Download Mozilla Firefox. Also free, it has less spam, and is much faster to use. Plus cool add-ons/extensions.
I have had also some problems with Internet Explorer and followed the same path to solve the problem but to no avail. Out of desparation and irritation I just do not make use of Internet Explorer and somehow it seems to work. I have a suspicion that somewhere in the Microsoft empire , someone is fiddling with system, to the detriment of users.
Try updating internet explorer to IE7. If that doesn't work, download Mozilla.
